
Ingrid's Journey...
Ingrid Echeverria, Esq. obtained her Juris Doctorate from the prestigious Seton Hall University School of Law. She has been practicing as an attorney for 20 years. She has three offices in the State of New Jersey with a team of twenty-five staff members. She specializes in immigration law, family law, Domestic Violence, and civil litigation. She is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, Federal District Court, and the United States Supreme Court in D.C.
She has had the honor of being appointed by the New Jersey State Supreme Court as an arbitrator in cases for the Ethics Committee that oversees complaints against attorneys. In addition to this high honor, she is the past president of the asylum committee for the largest organization of lawyers in the United States, known as AILA. Ingrid is a trustee of the Hudson County Bar Association. She is a mediator in the Superior Court of Hudson County on matrimonial matters.
She has received numerous awards for her professionalism and for standing out as a prominent Latina. She has been featured frequently as an immigration law expert on Telemundo, and is a frequent lecturer on immigration law for attorney bar associations. Ingrid’s relentless fight to obtain legal status for her clients has made it possible for her to become well known in the Latino community. She is known as the ANGEL OF MIGRANTS!
Ingrid participates as the legal advisor for several chambers of commerce such as the Hudson County Latino Chamber of Commerce and Essex County Latin American Chamber of Commerce. She serves as legal advisor to several non-profit organizations. She is also the legal advisor of GLACO. GLACO is an organization made up of Consuls of Latin American countries. She received the National Award for promotion and diffusion of Human Rights.
In addition, she is the president of the Salvadorian Parade of New Jersey. This non-profit organization highlights Salvadorian culture and customs by engaging the community to participate in cultural events including the annual parade.
